Amy Claire-Huestis

Amy-Claire Huestis is a Canadian artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores relationships between people and the natural world through drawing, painting, walking, performance, and creative writing. Her work investigates ecological awareness, ritual, and our connections with more-than-human environments. She has participated in residencies including the UCLA Art|Sci Center, the Bothy Project in Scotland, and J.M. Gray’s Cottage in British Columbia. Huestis teaches drawing and painting at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in British Columbia.
